TOPOLOGIE opens its first European boutique in Paris

Published

The Franco-Japanese fashion accessories brand Topologie, created in 2018 by two childhood friends passionate about climbing, opens a new chapter with the launch of its first European boutique in the heart of the Marais, in the artistic center of Paris.

Located at 119 rue du Temple and under the guidance of TCRM (The Clothette Retail Management), the new Parisian space presents its immersive Topologie Wares system to fashion enthusiasts, strengthening its presence in France.

Through numerous stores in Europe including Samaritaine, Printemps, Citadium, Merci, Galeries Lafayette, Jogging, United legend, Le rayon frais in France, as well as Selfridges and End Clothing in the United Kingdom or La Rinascente in Italy, Topologie's journey is experiencing an flawless ascent in terms of style and innovation.

Topologie has gained popularity on the Parisian art scene through numerous collaborations, notably with Pedro Winter's electronic music label Ed Banger Records and Christelle Kocher's fashion brand Koché.

Building on the success of its flagship store opened in Tokyo in July 2022, the brand now offers a unique physical space of 130 square meters in Paris, located in the historic Rue du Temple, at number 119.

The store was designed in collaboration with Milan-based Japanese design office Keiji Takeuchi, who translated Topologie's desire, influenced by climbing gear, to adopt a functional aesthetic by featuring an interior and display inspired by scaffolding.

Just as every climbing expedition begins with assembling the climber's safety equipment before the ascent, the wide selection of products offered by the brand allows urban explorers to build their personalized equipment collection, tailored to the thrills of daily adventures.

Topologie offers more than 100 interchangeable straps inspired by authentic ropes and climbing gear, complemented by bags and phone cases, carefully designed with functional compartments. In the Paris flagship, customers can unleash their creativity and co-create their unique carrying accessories from a range of more than 1,000 different combinations.

Prices vary depending on the models and sizes selected. It costs on average €100 for a bag/strap set, between €115 and €150 for a tote bag and between €50 and €80 for a phone strap/case set.

The official opening of the store on October 26th was the occasion for a major celebration, bringing together more than 300 guests from the fashion, music, arts, and creative industries. Among the attendees, MC Yan, a hip-hop and graffiti icon in Asia, performed a live graffiti session on-site, which will become a permanent piece of art in the store.
