For the first time since its creation, RAINS paraded in Paris a few days ago during Men's Fashion Week. 

The show, which took place at the Palais de Tokyo, showcased the new AW22 collection as well as exclusive pieces designed for the event. The show was marked by the runway appearance of His Highness Prince Nikolai of Denmark, who presented the final look.

Prince Nikolai wore pieces designed exclusively for the show, such as a very long oversized coat in one of the season's key colors, Pink Sky.

The colors

The color palette, inspired by the aurora borealis, combines the essential black, slate, navy, green, and cement with new bright colors. Two new variations of green are offered, Silver Pine and Evergreen. A pink, named Pink Sky, brings a soft note with a subtle shine, while the Digital Lime color brings a more acidic touch. The Wood color offers a legacy of subtly desaturated tone and a matte finish.

Nylon

First appearing in the SS22 collection, Nylon is now a go-to waterproof fabric for Rains. It gives colors more brilliance and offers a lighter alternative to the brand's traditional PU fabric. The nylon, quilted to form the Padded Nylon, is used to make several models, including the new Alpine Nylon jacket, which is highly functional and very warm.

 Puffer 

The Puffer category expands to eleven models, including reinterpretations of the highly sought-after "Wrap" silhouettes, which were first presented exclusively during the AW21 show. The collection steps up its game with the Block Puffer Jacket and Block Puffer Coat. All models in the range are now equipped with featherless Thermore® insulation.

 Footwear

After several collaborations in the footwear field, Rains is set to launch its first solo-designed shoes. The Show Combat Boot and Show Combat Boot Neoprene feature lugged EVA LiveTech soles, TPU straps on the front and back cuff, as well as metal eyelets and hooks. The fully vegan and water-repellent boots will be available in limited editions.
