Rains, the Danish rainwear and outdoor apparel and accessories brand, kicks off the year by launching its new campaign named High Point.

While the beginning of the year is generally synonymous with new resolutions, Rains issues a simple and evocative call to explore the outdoors well protected from the cold thanks to its new SS22 range of outdoor clothing.

Although they are easier to appreciate in the city, the new models are presented in a mountaineering-inspired shoot, referencing Rains' signature carabiner and strap details.

Collections built to last

Although inspired by Scandinavian climates, Rains collections offer weather protection to consumers across four continents. To meet a variety of weather conditions, Rains offers a wide selection of materials, silhouettes, and functionalities. The evolving Transitional range is tailored for shoulder seasons.

New concept: Padded Nylon

Rains launches its new crispy quilted nylon with a matte, velvety finish, thus expanding its range of waterproof materials. For the SS22 season, this fabric is used on four minimal outerwear silhouettes: the Padded Nylon Vest, the Jacket, the Anorak, and the Coat. The insulation is lightweight, making the styles easy to layer under heavier pieces.

Scuba: A new neoprene fabric for the Trekker

The quilting concept offers insulating outerwear with a sporty, urban aesthetic. For the SS22 season, the concept comes in two silhouettes: the sleekly styled Trekker Vest and the Trekker Scuba Jacket. The Scuba Jacket incorporates the brand's new neoprene-inspired Scuba fabric in its details. This combination of materials gives the garments a contemporary and sporty look.

Tone-on-tone spring looks

Rains extends its color palette across several product categories.

This gives consumers the freedom to create tone-on-tone looks by pairing rain jackets and pants, Transitional silhouettes, bags, and accessories.

The Transitional High Point range will be available starting early January 2022 on rains.com, in RAINS stores, in department stores, and at a selection of retailers across France.
