SALOMON SPORTSTYLE

We are happy and proud to welcome the brand Salomon Sportstyle to The Clothette agency.
A French sports heritage brand
The brand was founded by Georges Salomon in 1947 in Annecy. Since its inception, it has been a pioneer in the development of cutting-edge tech and specialized in ski equipment.
In 1992, Salomon expanded into summer sports and designed its first collection of hiking shoes.

Salomon Sportstyle
For some years now, Salomon has found its place among an audience more accustomed to fashion weeks than to trail paths. Riding the Gorpcore trend, Salomon launched its Sportstyle program, which highlights exclusive and high-end collaborations with brands that share its values and forward-thinking vision of fashion.
The goal was to have shoes that, while remaining true and authentic to performance, were reimagined simply by changing the color application and being made available to a different market. Salomon Sportstyle is renowned for its colorways and constantly reinvents classic silhouettes through innovative colors and pioneering material blends.
A key example of this approach is Salomon's Advanced line. A line that is both an ode to design and culture, but also deeply rooted in performance.

The XT-6, a highly desirable and innovative model
The figurehead of the Sportstyle collection is the XT-6. Its running colors of black, red, and white have evolved here into a bright, multicolored design.
The XT-6, developed by Salomon's S/LAB team, was designed for pure performance, comfort, and efficiency. It was originally produced for the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc, a 170 km race along the trails of Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Western Europe.
Today, you are just as likely to spot the XT-6 on the sidewalks of New York or London as you are on the trails of Chamonix or Garmisch. Its bold design has allowed it to conquer the streets of capitals worldwide.

Bold collaborations
The collaborations established for the Sportstyle program allow Salomon to push the limits of creativity regarding colors, materials, and design.
Two ongoing collaborators have done a great deal to shape Salomon Sportstyle. These are the Parisian retailer The Broken Arm and the German designer Boris Bidjan Saberi, both of whom have been working with Salomon for a long time to elevate its heritage.

More recently, Salomon Sportstyle has also collaborated with other world-renowned designers such as Palace, And Wander, Beams, and Rei Kawakubo for Comme des Garçons.

« The energy of design, whether for a high-level athlete or a major fashion designer, is equally powerful, but it translates very differently in how the product is expressed. If The Broken Arm, Boris Bidjan Saberi, Rei Kawakubo, and Palace have all chosen to work with us, it is because we have stayed true to our original offering. »
The brand has over 70 years of history, which consumers value because they seek products with a history and purpose. We are honored to have been chosen by Salomon to continue advancing their Sportstyle line in line with our shared visions.
