BARACUTA / SS22
Published

For its spring-summer 2022 collection, Baracuta explores its archives and renews one of its most iconic garments: the Baracuta G4 jacket.
This jacket is the twin of the legendary Baracuta G9 Harrington Jacket. These two pieces share the same origin: they were born in Manchester in 1937, and feature the same details such as the stand-up collar, the shape of the buttoned pockets and the umbrella-shaped back vent. Unlike the G9, the G4 is not fitted at the bottom, nor at the sleeves.

Both models are available in many new colors, inspired by the brand's favorite cities, such as London, Berlin, Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo and Milan.
For SS22, the new colors are: corn flower, caramel nude and bright tangerine. The new G9 and G4 jackets are also available in madras patchwork.
In addition to its jackets, Baracuta also offers its Ivy League range. It consists of sweatshirts and accessories inspired by American campuses, in pop-lime, isabella and cobalt colors.

The SS22 summer season also marks the creation of the Baracuta Pro program dedicated to Upcycling, which consists of renewing something old into a new, useful, beautiful, creative and avant-garde piece.
The Baracuta Upcycled Apparel program is dedicated to the creation of a collection of jackets whose reconditioned fabrics come from the brand's previous productions. In this way, the brand gives a second life to its garments.
