OpéraSPORT’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection is a true celebration of cultural harmony and gentle modernity, born from a recent journey to Seoul, South Korea. 

Co-founders Stephanie Gundelach and Awa Malina Stelter took inspiration from the rich contrasts of the Korean capital and its serene traditions alongside bold urban energy to design a collection that feels both grounded and forward-thinking. The lineup was presented on August 4 in Copenhagen, expressing a vision of style where balance is key.

A Serene Palette Inspired by Seoul

The collection’s color story subtly references Seoul’s pastel urban landscapes. Soft hues of sage, butter yellow, gentle blue, and pink are balanced with crisp white and the brand’s signature pastel green. 

An exclusive hibiscus flower print, paying tribute to Korea’s national bloom, adds a poetic and contemporary visual signature to the season. These light, airy tones bring freshness and ease that perfectly complement the SS26 spirit.

Sculptural Silhouettes and Cultural References

Key pieces in the collection include sculptural dresses, transparent 3D floral lace, tailored sets with architectural lines, and a standout vegan leather jacket embroidered with hibiscus flowers. 

A spectacular trench coat adorned with 3D hibiscus appliqués and floral embroidery ties together the season’s main motifs with bold softness. References to the traditional hanbok silhouette are reinterpreted through OpéraSPORT’s minimalist lens, offering a refined nod to cultural nostalgia. New “seamless” pieces crafted in delicate lace combine comfort and elegance, showcasing a modern approach to classic craftsmanship.

Frederiksberg Badene: An Aquatic Setting

At the heart of SS26 is a deep appreciation for balance between softness and strength, tradition and innovation. Choosing Frederiksberg Badene, a historic swimming facility in Copenhagen, as the runway location reflects this inspiration.

The serene setting echoed the calm energy of the collection and referenced the daily view from the founders’ hotel pool in Seoul, a touchstone throughout the creative process.

A Commitment to Thoughtful Sourcing

As always, the collection is crafted from recycled or organic fabrics. Timelessness and versatility remain core values for OpéraSPORT, with each piece designed to move seamlessly through seasons and settings, which reflects the brand’s ongoing commitment to sustainability.

OpéraSPORT x Havaianas Collaboration

For SS26, OpéraSPORT teamed up with Havaianas in a special collaboration that expands the Brazilian flip-flop brand’s presence on the global fashion stage.

Alongside signature silhouettes, the collaboration introduced the first-ever 3D-printed flip-flop, developed with footwear technology company Zellerfeld. This limited-edition innovation blends bold creativity with heritage, echoing the contrasts present in the collection and transforming a casual staple into a fashion piece.

Casting & Beauty Direction

This season’s casting reflects the brand’s commitment to inclusivity and individuality, featuring a mix of street-cast talent, emerging names, and established faces. 

Hair was styled by Hanna Ramirez using Iles Formula products, while beauty direction by Miild focused on fresh, dewy skin and soft floral tones, perfectly complementing the collection’s color story.

The OpéraSPORT Spring/Summer 2026 collection will be available online and at a select number of boutiques worldwide from February 2026. With its Seoul-inspired vision, sustainable foundations, and innovative collaboration, it is poised to become one of the standout collections of the season and will soon be showcased at The Clothette showroom for our retail partners.
