OpéraSport showcased its SS25 collection at Copenhagen Fashion Week
Published

OpéraSport presented its SS25 collection to the press and international buyers at the beginning of August, during the latest Copenhagen Fashion Week.
Staying true to its identity, the Danish brand keeps its signature elements: ruffles, recycled fabrics, gathers, and scrunchy bags, creating silhouettes that are romantic and inspired by Marie Antoinette’s baroque style.

The two co-founders of OpéraSport, Stephanie Gundelach and Awa Malina Stelter, were inspired this season by the Exillion Garden, a hidden gem in the north of the city. This private park regularly hosts open-air concerts and beautifully combines nature and architecture.
This inspiration led to a floral color palette mixed with primary colors, quilted prints, embroidery, and of course the brand’s signature scrunched bags, as well as the offbeat and gathered necklines the designers are known for.

On the runway, which took place facing the Operaparken bay in the heart of Copenhagen, the setting featured flower beds, with many dresses and a strong sense of romance, creating very cottagecore silhouettes. There were also more sporty swimsuits mixed with urban pieces such as striped shirts and leather jackets.
An easy-to-wear fashion that will definitely give you a modern, contemporary look.
