THINKING MU expands with the opening of its first store in Madrid.
Thinking Mu, the well-known European sustainable brand, continues its expansion plan by opening its first store in Madrid. It is located on one of the busiest streets in the heart of the city: C/ Barquillo, 23.

From the Mediterranean to Madrid
The Isern Serra team was tasked with bringing the space to life, keeping in mind the brand’s core values: sustainability, functionality, and aspiration. With a unique design and custom-made furniture, crafted from sustainable materials and using techniques that blend digital and traditional methods. Soft, rounded shapes and earthy colors play a major role. Nothing is left to chance, and everything has a purpose.
The 150 m² store enjoys a prime location in Justicia, one of the trendiest neighborhoods in Madrid and home to some of the most prominent brands of the moment. The seven large windows surrounding the store also offer passersby an impressive view of its interior.
This opening is the next step in Thinking Mu’s expansion plan for the coming years. Although the store has been open since June, it was officially inaugurated on September 11, in collaboration with Mambo Creatives and ARDENUY.

At the same time, Thinking Mu is preparing the opening of its first store in Paris and another in Spain, scheduled for the first quarter of 2025. In addition, in 2024, the brand entered Asia through its digital channel.
"Our goal is to open ten stores in the next two years," explains Cinthia Miralles. "It is an ambitious project, especially since we do everything ourselves, without any external investors," she adds.
Thinking Mu plans new openings not only in Spain, but also in its key markets: France, Germany, and the United Kingdom. All of this is combined with a strategy of pop-ups and new spaces in department stores.
