ASPESI

Aspesi is an Italian ready-to-wear brand for men and women, specialising in functional and contemporary outerwear. It is recognised for the quality of its fabrics and the precision of its cuts. Since its founding in Milan in 1969 by Alberto Aspesi, the brand has stood out for its pragmatic approach to clothing, favouring understated, durable elegance rooted in functionality.

A Wardrobe Built Around Outerwear

Technical jackets and overshirts inspired by military and workwear references are at the core of Aspesi’s offering.

The brand’s key product is the Field Jacket, inspired by the M65, reinterpreted with modern fabrics and refined finishes. Aspesi was also among the first brands to introduce down jackets into a more urban and fashion-oriented wardrobe.

Aspesi garments are defined by:

  • lightweight technical fabrics, often water-repellent or waterproof

  • functional cuts designed for movement and layering

  • durable construction suited to everyday wear

This results in a versatile wardrobe that adapts easily to both urban environments and changing weather conditions.

Reinterpreting Utility Wear

Since its origins, Aspesi has drawn from the codes of utility clothing, military uniforms, workwear and technical garments, to build a coherent and legible wardrobe.

Rather than transforming these references, the brand refines them: simplifying lines, improving materials and optimising performance. This approach results in balanced, functional and elegant pieces that integrate naturally into a contemporary wardrobe.

A Subtle Yet Distinct Visual Identity

Alongside its work on volume and materials, Aspesi has developed a discreet yet recognisable visual language. The brand regularly introduces exclusive prints, stripes and patterns drawn from its textile archives, while maintaining a controlled overall palette.

This contrast between structural restraint and graphic accents allows the brand to expand its offering without losing coherence.

Between utilitarian heritage and contemporary standards, Aspesi delivers a clear, durable and immediately understandable outerwear-focused wardrobe.
